The fight has already been settled in the court of public opinion. Kovalev was robbed. 4 out of 5 journalists feel Kovalev won. Most experts and fans in attendance the night of the fight believed Kovalev won. Whatever the reason the judges gave the fight to Ward for, the fact 3 judges awarded Kovalev a total of 1 round out of 18 possible votes from the 6th on is blatant bias. It may have nothing to do with nationality maybe as I have heard, it could be that Kovalev had a rematch clause and had he won, no rematch was likely, now there will be a rematch. Which means More money for everyone.
The fact Ward received votes for round 3 and 5 from some judges and Kovalev didn't receive anything in the second half of the fight including the absurd 10th round which he clearly won and which would of left the final two rounds irrevelant shows the judges had their cards filled out before the fight began just like they did on the undercard in the booker fight.
Kovalev won.

 

The fight was close and open to different interpretation, but even when you have to be kind to Ward and give him the benefit of the doubt in several rounds he still only wins by a point.

I've never known a defending champion to knockdown, out land and out punch only to lose.

 

10/10 rounds will be more apparent in 2017

Out of interest, after the two failed lawsuits brought against Dan Goossen on behalf of Ward by Dwyer, does he still represent Ward? It's my understanding Ward is still being counter sued by Goossen for $10m and I presume, as a result of failed legal action fronted by Dwyer. Is it possible they have had a parting of the waves? Not sure this video can be labelled as 'unbiased' unless Dywer is still in the employ of Ward, in which case it's just plain odd...

I think what was interesting about this fight is that I had read how people were thinking Ward would be the boxer and Kovalev the brawler where it looked to me in the fight like Ward was the brawler and Kovalev the boxer.

I thought Kovalev was a clear winner not that, that opinion matters

 

Turner believed god told him to kill people , same way the jihadis think god is telling the to kill people

That is extremism or terrorism brought on by religious beliefs.
