i wonder if boxers get pissed when they see their opponents wearing the same color trunks . i bet he was like "it's cool, i got stripes", and then saw his opponent had stripes, too, and put a whooping on him for it.

He didn't actually compete in the Olympics, right? I remember seeing a feature on him during the Olympics but if I recall something happened that didn't allow him to compete.

Im impressed with his speed and general offensive arsenal but he seems to be a little stiff and also lacks of head movement...But overall great prospect...He also has a very fast, stiff jab...I will keep an eye on him from now...

That is Sam Watson, Al Haymon's adviser. The dude all the way to the right is Watson's son.

what i caught is that he passed out in a fight due to exhaustion (cutting down weight). That disqualified him for medal contention...

funny thing, he's in the same weight class in the pro's. I really hope he's not having problems now, or he needs to go up 1

GRJ was recently on a boxing radio show and talked about how his style is patterned after Melrick Taylor and how he hopes to one day face Gamboa.

Can't wait to see this kid step up in class.

It's a shame he missed the Olympics. He might have been able to prevent the U.S. team from having its worst performance ever.

if he sharpens up his defensive stance, i'd give him the best chance out of anyone in straight up KO'ing out Gamboa.....
