Well, say your Albanian but have been living in the small island of Malta. Im pure Albanian from all my familys side with no bit of Maltese blood. If you were asked to go for nationals which country would you pick? Your mother country, the country which supports you? Or your home country which taught you everything about boxing and gave you opportunities in life?

Im asking this question cause it goes through alot of people mind (who are in my situation) and i would like to know what you choose and for what reason. :bush

If you're Albanian, you move to Germany and get a German name.

what do you mean go for nationals?
If you mean box for and represent in tournaments id go for country with the better training squad which would give me better chances to improve etc
If you meant enter their national championships id choose the one with less resistance :$ lol

Representing your country abroad. If for example Albania has an extremely good squad and malta's squad is 'OK' but Malta was the country that taught you how to box in the first place who would you choose?

I'd go for the one that's easier to get into lol.

Joking personally I'd go for the country I was raised in and taught how to box in.

If malta is where u learned to box but albania has the better squad set up (trainers, sparring, fitness experts dietritions etc) that would get the best out of you id personally choose Albania. I understand its like stabbing Malta in the back but in this sport you have to but yourself 1st

Remember this word loyalty. Be loyal to whom you identify most with, and what you truly feel in your heart would be the right decision. But also you need to remember that only one of those countries may invite you to join their national team, so also decide what would be best for you.

No offence but thats bull****. Loyalty is important but there comes a point where success has to be put first. A disloyal Olympic gold medalist > a loyal Olympic Bronze medalist
