If we like wilder or not : he proved that somewhere in the fight he is able to deploy his hammer on every oponent he fought - including fury .

Fury was until now the only person being able to recover from this ( and finally beat wilder ) .

Usyk or any other boxer has to prove that they are the first boxer where wilder will not be able to deploy his hammer or the second boxer to be able to recover from his hammer .

Yup. He just hasn't faced any big punchers who are worth a damn except grandpa Ortiz who gave him fits.

Exactly. And I think Wilder might just get one in there on everyone he ever fights. I got him koing everyone. Including Fury if they keep fighting. He can't take them shots forever.

Yep he spent so much of those two fights doing nothing scared to get caught and giving up round after round waiting for grandpa Ortiz to gas and slow enough that he could land that right hand.

While it was a good strategy that worked against Ortiz against a fighter who isn't a plodder and a natural counter puncher who can pressure Wilder and will look to force him back and engage rather than sit and wait looking to counter then Wilder's offense will be neutralised as we saw in the 2nd Fury fight. KOing Wilder first is definitely a strategy that could work as it so often takes Wilder so long to land his own big shots unless of course you are a sitting duck like fat Stiverne, Helenius or Breazeale. Which of course doesn't bode well for Andy Ruiz.

    Two things are certain:

    1) Wilder will never get in the 15th/20th best HWs ever. All his efforts to enter are vain. Are too much skillful people before him.

    2) He is already among the 5 hardest punchers ever

Therefore that quote of Louis was right.

More or less like Shavers, or Tua who however were more skillful than him imo.
