A pacquiao KO is highly unlikely in a Mayweather fight

    3 things here:

-I am more of a Mayweather fan than at Pacquiao fan, but I am a fan of both.
-I am genuinely curious about this, not a diss.
-I know threads like this have been over done, but f*** it!

3 out of the 7 fights Pac had above 140 have resulted in a knock out. When you look at the details of the fights this is what it looks like behind the veil.

-De la hoya who was drained, and knocked out.
-Hatton was legit to me...beautiful knock out.(supposedly Hatton on cocaine though)
-Cotto was a late stoppage on accumulation.
-Clottey did not open up because of pac's speed.
-Margarito got busted up, but that was more because of accumulation than the power of the punches.
-Shane did not engage which is a compliment to pacquiao's speed and power. and pac scored a kd.
-Marquez was a great fight, by no means a robbery. Could have gone either way.

I just don't think that Pac is the power monster above 140 that he is marketed to be. His defense and boxing skills are underrated. He is fast as lightning, and I think he is actually noticeably faster than Mayweather when throwing punches. Mayweathers footwork and reflexes are faster.

I think that it is more likely that Pacquiao would win a decision rather than a ko. I think that Mayweather wins though, Pac won't land enough meaningful punches.

Pac could have stopped Margarito, but he started pulling punches. Margarito might have gone blind if Pac kept targeting it.

Most *****s believe that Floyd's gonna walk down, punish, and stop Pac.

    ***** lol

well, i am calling it like I see it. Margarito could have been knocked out, and maybe cotto could have seen the final bell. These are what ifs...I am a pacquiao fan...and I order all of his fights.

If Pacquiao lands clean, I wouldn't count out a KO. Floyd doesn't get hit clean too often, but that doesn't mean he has a solid chin, there's a difference. With that said, hitting him clean is easier said then done.

Margarito usually opens up regardless of how many times he gets hit, he was slow to pull the trigger vs. Pacquiao - just sayin.

Cotto ran for the second half of the fight after getting his brain scrambled.

Marquez has had two looks at Pacquiao before the third bout so it's only natural that he was able to defend against him, he was planted on the canvas before - just sayin.

I am not the biggest Pacquiao fan, I like him but by no means is he my favorite, but he does have solid punching power. The trick is not getting caught up in exchanges with him, everyone that tries to bully him get's sparked. That's a fact.

Pac's willing to die in the ring against Floyd. On the fight, Pac said that he would fight like "there's no tomorrow". If Pac catches Floyd the way Mosley did, Pac finishes him.

I don't know what you use as a barometer, but imo Mayweather has a solid chin. Mayweather has been hit clean and showed no signs of being wobbled. People only remember when he gets rocked. I am not saying his chin is iron like mosley or alien like margarito, but his chin is solid.

I am not saying that Pac doesn't have good power, but rather that it is overrated above 140.

When Mosley hit Floyd, Floyd's legs did the spaghetti shuffle. Great recuperative abilities, though.

Floyd recovered from rd 2 because he knew how to hold on and survive. People act like Mosley just stood there and didn't try to follow up, truth is he was throwing hands. Mayweather held on and covered up. Mosley was not tired in rd 2. How would that be any different that with Pacquiao?

I think it will take ALOT to K.O Mayweather....

Pacquiao has good power and speed but can he even land a big shot? I mean how many fights can people say Mayweather has taken a big shot? Once every 5/6 fights?

That's assuming that a big shot will even K.O Mayweather.

What happens if he lands that big shot and Mayweather recovers? After all JMM was able to get up everytime Pacquiao put him down and in their last fight Pacquiao wasn't even able to put him down.

So are people saying Mayweathers chin isn't as good as JMM's?

People thinking Pacquiao will K.O Mayweather are clutching at straws.
