Dont put other fighters down just to lift your idol up. Not good.

 

One of the cardinal rules of boxing is that styles makes fights. For the most part every boxer is different in their own way so it's unfair to make such a statement. In this case the compare fighters and their opponents are very different stylistically so I would say your way off base with your critique.

If Pac is going to make Cotto or Pavlik look bad then he will have to fight one of their common opponents or even Cotto and Pavlik themselves. :deal

 

That's where your wrong my friend. Cotto and Pavlik has got all the time yet to redeem themslves so, it is too premature to label them in anyway deregatory.

Cotto overcoming great odds? He was a 2-1 favorite bro. And Pavlik was a 4-1 favorite.


Pacquiao would be overcoming great odds because he's a 2-1 underdog....It has no relevance/relation to cotto/pavlik IMO except for the fact that he saved Top Rank from an absolutely miserable year.

If you asked me pre cotto-margarito, i woulda told you pavlik,pacman, and cotto would be all top 5 p4p by '09...As would a lot of people.
