A Pacquiao win will make both Cotto and Pavlik look like bums...

I understand where your coming from, and I'd take nothing away from pac's win (if by some miracle he got it), BUT....Cotto fought a WARRIOR with a steel chin in fighting Margaritio. Pavlik fought a boxing legend who even if he doesn't win, he's guaranteed to make you look badly. Pac is fighting....An old de la hoya.
At this point in De la Hoya's career I wouldn't compare him to margaritio, and I wouldn't even put him on the same level as a 43 year old B-HOP (who's exceptional).
It'd be a monstrous win, and it would cement him as being P4P (which he should be already), but doesn't make Cotto/ Pavlik look like bums...

Using the original posters logic we have to lobby to get Alexis Arguello kicked out of the IBHOF. He failed to win a title at 140, but two other great SFW's did: PBF and Oscar won titles at 140. Poor Alexis! the bum's gotta goatsch
