I don´t think Golota was better than Carnera. Carnera was very strong had decent skills, decent power. Very underrated.

why not? He was the greatest combination puncher in heavyweight history. Louis was stopped by a lesser fighter but Lewis was too stopped by lesser fighters. If Mcccall and rahman can connect, so can Louis except his punches will be more devestating.

  4. how can u prove that so decisivly lol ? the fact is that ppl like to cling on to past greats and as always in boxing people refuse to see the facts , Lewis would finish Louis

Lewis was every bit as vulnearable to a right hand, heck even more so. Louis was never stopped by a single punch. Louis's defense was better then Lewis imo.

Where do you get those "facts" from?

The only fact here is that your "facts" are actually your opinion. And honestly, it´s a very shitty one.

there's no doubt that if louis connected then lewis would go, but i think lewis, who has the more devestating right hand would land first.
its only my opinion and it may even go the distance.
lewis has the jab to keep louis away should he care to use it

fair enough but i think Lewis would be the more cautious fighter here. I honestly feel Lewis would try to fight Louis like he did with Holyfield and Tua, keep them away with the jab. The biggest difference would be Louis's longer reach and much faster hands then either Holyfield or tua

Maybe i was being too harsh on Lewis. I would certainly give him a punchers chance, however i still feel Louis would win.

i did say that lewis had a decent jab and didn't use it enough in the same way that young george foreman didn't use his either.
as i said its only my opinion but i have ali and lewis at 1 and 2 in the heavyweight atg's

Either Lewis see's him as a threat and tries to take him out early ala Golota, or Louis times him in the mid rounds and finishes the job with a brutal combination.

I'm leaning towards Lewis early, I'm not sure that Joe could stand up to that devestating right hand for too long.

    Lewis KO 3

If Lennox wins this it's by an early ko imo. He would probably realize that Louis is a far too dangerous puncher to let hang around so he would try to end things early. If he doesn't then I see Joe taking the big fellow out anywhere after the 7th or 8th round. A third possible scenario I see is Lewis, after tasting a couple of hard punches from Joe, elects to to go into survival mode and stay away dropping a decision. Either wayI lean toward Louis, though you can't count out a man the size of Lennox either.

Pick any sport, football, weightlifting, tennis, golf, athletics, swimming etc, take the best athlete of that given sport 50-60 years ago and put them in direct competition with the top dog of today and the modern athlete beats them and quite easily too, boxing is no different. Lewis wins, probably early.
This isn't a knock on Louis, he's ranked 2nd all time and rightly so, but that ranking is because of what he achieved in his own time.

Yeah, boxing is different, actually. And everyone who ever tries to claim otherwise in any kind of detail instead of rabbiting about weight-lifting and sprinting, tends to get schooled. Maybe you'll be different though, and I'd invite you to step right up.
