A peak Lacy at 168 fighting in 1989 how would he have fared?

    Was that after Calzaghe ? There was nowt left of him. Another instance when a lad's corner let him down badly.

    Styles and fights Mark. Collins was a real tough guy but a dream for Lacy.

    Hs team were crap in the first place, which is why he didn`t have a clue on how to fight Calzaghe.

    No, he was harder to hit than Lacy and had a good chin.

    Steve's chin was from another planet but I wouldn't say he was harder to hit Mark. Lacy was quicker and hit harder than Collins. Would have been a terrific fight and I would have wanted Collins to win but I find it hard to make the case.

    Still should have pulled him after the eighth though. Kid was done and in a lot of pain.

    Lacy had no head movement and Collins had a much tighter guard, McCallum would have hit Lacy far more than he hit Collins.

    Lacy was a strong kid and most people thought a lot of Left Hook Lacy until he got dominated by Joe Calzaghe then they all said he was garbage all along- many people picked him over Joe

    Lacy has a puncher's chance vs Hearns - Iran Barkley did it - and would beat Donny LaLonde

    I still favor Hearns but would not count out Lacy

    I was interested to read responses, I like this stuff and think Lacy was overrated.
