    :lol::lol::lol::lol:What it comes down too is that though exaggerated, there is actually some truth to all these pessimistic views of the different fighters......

    .....bottom line is how these fighters do when matched with quality fighters fighting at the top of their games......and to date for example, Pacquiao has only faced MAB once and JMM twice of that quality where you can say he fought a real quality fighter at the top of his game......

    JMM for instance has only had the opportunity to fight Pacquiao who was a quality fighter at the top of his game.....previously before Juan Diaz lost to Campbell, I had said that Marquez would beat him, but Diaz' loss to Campbell diminishes the "fighting at the top of his game" effect.....

    Margarito beat Cotto=high quality

    Cotto beat Mosley=high quality

    Mosley beat Margarito=High quality

    etc.........

    Those are the types of wins that are high quality, but in boxing, fighters shy away from the opportunity to get a high quality win against a fighter proven to be fighting at a high level.....

    Beating a JMM, Pac, Williams, Klitchko's, Mayweather.......these are the fighters right now off the top of my head that you would consider a high quality win, no if's, and's, or but's, if a fighter were to beat them.

    ......so yeah, the thread starter layed it a bit thick in disecting Pac's recent fights, as did others with other fighters, but certainly there is some truth to alot of it.

    It's unbelievable how dramatic of a switch the tone has changed in regards to Manny Pacquiao here on the ESB boards.

    Remember pre DLH? Manny nut huggers a small minority who if they came out of the closet would get bashed for thinking they could contend with oscar. Now Manny nut huggers are the large majority and any1 who poses the question that maybe JUST MAYBE Manny Pacquiao isn't what he's cracked up to be, they get berated.

    Sad that every fighter gets a pessimistic view once they reach the apex. It's like celebrity scandals and gossip. Anyway, the TS is correct, THAT IS A PESSIMISTIC VIEW on one great fighter's achievement.

    A extremely biased threadstarter w/ an adjective "pessimistic" in his thread title does not deserved to be read.

    i'm no *******, but i call it the way i see it....

    Hatton= A Solid W, over the recognized "man" at 140
    Oscar= was weight drained, just a W for manny, not a hall of fame win
    Diaz= A Paper Champ, just a W for manny
    JMM= A close fight could have gone either way, manny got the judges nod
    MAB= Was Over The Hill, but counts as W
