At worst I could accuse Kessler of believing in Palle too much, but look what Palle has done for him. And IS doing for him. Buying him the WBA belt. Not that I dont' believe Kesser could earn it without Palle. But, Palle is turn playing the abc's game. The shame in all of this is that it turns out he could have had the Miranda fight as the title shot after all instead of, well whowever the heck it is he is fighting next.

OK. Where is this different than what I posted? They say the don't know WHY. Were are the additional demands?
In boxing, getting to the ring is half the struggle This content is protected By Michael Hirsley Special to ESPN.com (Archive) Sometimes in boxing, there are fights before the fights. Called negotiations, they are tests of will, pitting boxers and their self-interests against whatever they perceive to be obstacles to them stepping into the ring. These irritations can be as petty as whose face is on the left of the fight promotion poster, who weighs in and enters the ring last, size of suites and dressing rooms and choice of gloves. But sometimes these petty irritations can nearly scuttle a major fight. Boxers have carried protests over the choice of referee, once going as far as the airport for departure before relenting. Another fighter threatened to bypass all pre-fight appearances in Los Angeles, where he feared earthquakes. Still another arrived on the night of his title bout vowing not to enter the venue without free passes for a last-minute posse of 20. More than one boxer has demanded the suite where scenes for a particular movie were filmed in Las Vegas and one kept pigeons in his hotel bedroom. We were recently reminded of how tangled such pre-fight skirmishes can go when ESPN.com's Dan Rafael detailed former super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler's list of 16 demands to be met, before he would fight Edison Miranda. The list ranged from very general and fairly normal (training expenses, each fighter can choose his own brand of gloves, 168-pound weight limit, date of May 24) to very specific and fairly weird (fight cannot be in Florida or at any Native American-owned property, hotel or casino, without Kessler's prior approval, his 400,000-euro ($637,000) purse must be paid by an irrevocable letter of credit to a certain bank 14 days prior to the bout, he must get 20 ringside seats that consist of 10 in the first row and 10 in the second row, all close to Kessler's corner).
You can't just add "additional demands" on that turkey and make it fly. Those were the ORIGINAL DEMANDS and they WERE MET.
Usually doesn't on ESB ... because all you discover is eighty Europeans voted for Klitschko over Ali's twenty supporters ... for greatest heavyweight ever Put one up for the greater human being (or fighter) between Adolph Hitler and Martin Luther King and watch MLK get raped ... the very definition of ESB ....
What was in the initial agreed contract then if the date, weight, location and duration of the fight were not?
Yes. THAT was their excuse, and that proved to be false. That is why Warriors put a press release on the front page here. There was never any talk of more demands than Warriors posted.
No valid reason with regards to this fight. Palle was working a back door deal with the WBA to get Kessler named as Mundine's mandatory, even though the knew Mundine was all but signed to another fight at the time. They hoped to get the belt on a forfeit as near as I can tell. Strange how fast Mundine vacated isn't it? I think he was promised a shot at Sturm. In the end though, Kessler will get his belt without having to face anyone of note. SAD.:-(
