maybe they were not "additional", but many were clearly absurd demands.

Im about 90% sure he ducked him, you can disagree if you want.

Dibella was a middleman who helped negotiate the deal. . . he was not the promoter of either guy - had no dog in the fight. He was at a loss to explain why Kesslers camp pulled out.

Why do you continually feel the need to respond? Insecure?

I think Kessler was watching ESPN FNF and saw Miranda put Banks to sleep and freaked out.

Who should he have faced for the belt? Mundine? But Kessler already beat Mundine for the WBA belt, Mundine only winning back the regular belt when the WBA made Kessler super-champion after he beat Bayer.

My point is that it wasn't Kessler, but Palle. It was up him to get the signatures on the contract. He didn't even try. Some of us here try and seperate the actions of the fighter and their managers, promoters, trainers, whatever. I don't believe Kessler told Palle he didn't want to fight Miranda. He didn't get to the level he did with that kind of attitude. When you see TFFP and me agree on something, you can bank it.

TFFP and Amsterdam love to tell me who at 168 beats Pavlik. The list is down from 50 names now, but I have never heard of this guy he is fighting, so if he can't beat Pavlik, he must be crap at 168.

Kessler was probably thinking he would have had him out up to his knees instead of the middle of his back.

I don't think anyone is hyping Sartison up at all. Kessler is fighting him for the sake of a title. Same as Pavlik fought Lockett for the sake of a title.

I expect Sartison to turn out to be better than Lockett, if that helps....

Thats plausible, I aint buying it though.

this fight was soooo close in negotiations, it was agreed upon in terms. . . Kessler knew how much he was getting paid etc. Perhaps his handlers told him they changed their minds and wanted to hold out for a paper title fight and he allowed it - thats more likely IMO.

But is that really the best matchup the could get for a vacant title? WBA and WBC have lost all credibility with me lately. Kessler fiasco WBA. Lockett WBC.
