Damn, hate to see what happens to a guy when Golovkin brings his A game.

    Lol right?
GGG even said the whole fight felt like a sparring session.

Just glad Brook didn't get busted up even worse than he did.

He beat on a WW who looked sluggish at best.

Brook should've tried to come into the match around 152-154 lbs instead of making the full MW limit. It was quite evident he didn't have the same handspeed or elusiveness with his footwork that he had at 147 lbs. His major advantage should've been his overall speed, and I think gaining those extra 13 lbs negated a good portion of it.

Still, Golovkin looked good. He has really good variation to his punches; some of those shots come from very unusual angles.

Expectations for GGG are too high especially by the haters

He also said he didn't feel Brook's power so was probably treating it like a sparring session and not look good too much if he wants Canelo to stop ducking

Monroe Jr did better than Brook in my opinion he boxed circles around Golovkin

This is how I interpreted things. The fear factor has only gone up. Golovkin clearly threw his boxing out of the window, made some glaring mistakes, and yet it was a lost cause for Brook who probably would have given Eubank and Saunders all they could handle in that night.

It will be hard to argue Saunders case if that one gets signed. Fans will just come to see Golovkin do what he does. There'll be no hoodwinking that it will be competitive.

Saunders is a good boxer but he trades too much and is out of shape to stand any a chance to withstand Golovkins attacks.I think Lara can beat Golovkin.

    Brook made him look poor.

Nobody wants to look bad against a welter weight. Golovkin has pride.

Lara isn't as dynamic of a puncher as Brook. He doesn't throw the variety of punches that Brook can throw. Lara would engage in a jabbing contest with Golovkin and he probably has a chance to go the distance, but there is hardly any chance of him hurting or stopping Golovkin.
