It COULD happen one fine day. If this one's been done before, I apologize. Who do you have, and how? Public Poll Included.

personally i've always thought that despite AJ being the better and greater overall fighter, Wilder would stop him if they ever fought.

AJ 2.0 is too gunshy to beat Wilder.

You can't hide from Wilder and you can't go after him either unless you're Fury from the 2nd Wilder fight which was GOAT material and was pretty much possessed so even if Wilder landed which he did a few times it would not affect Fury.

AJ has to just hope he can find his power first and end it.

Wilder is a like fighting a crack demon. You're better off just not doing it.

The advantages that AJ does have over Wilder, are completely negated by the fact that Wilder has zero fear in the ring, he will throw his right hand and he will land on AJ.

    Wilder by KO.

I've always fancied AJ in this because he is easily the better boxer, more sound defensively and carries more than enough power to put a dent in Wilder. That said the tentative version of AJ is running a serious risk. AJ will need to starch Wilder fast, and look to land his own power, not outbox him for a points win. Wilder will land his bombs sooner or later and I don';t fancy AJ's chin against that right hand. If Joshua looks to land the big thunder fast, I think he wins. If AJ messes about pecking away, I think he probably loses.

Never believed Wilder could beat AJ. He ran from a HUGE payday...admitted himself.

It doesn’t matter if Wilder admitted it himself people will still say AJ ducked him.

I’ve always favored AJ to land first as he is much better overall and a quicker starter. If he comes in gun shy he’ll probably lose.

I’ve always favored Wilder all day by KO, and still do.

Never understood that. I always assumed that Windmilling Wilders deluded-ass really thought he was worth more than that huge amount that was being proposed.

If the fight was "life and death" Wilder would win. He proved that he can take bigger beatings than Anthony Joshua. Punch like Wilder's AJ has only experienced in the fight with Wlad, but it is no longer that Anthony Joshua (2017). Before Ruiz AJ could win, Current AJ loses, and I wouldn't be surprised by a KO1 scenario, like Wilder Vs. Helenius and Breazeale fights.

Whenever I pick in a H2H matchup, I never take a fighter's mental state into the equation. It's always based on the assumption that both fighters will be coming into the ring as prepared as possible both mentally & physically.

With that said, I almost always go with the superior boxer and that would be AJ imo. If he just boxes naturally, the openings will come.

I know this isn't a very popular opinion, but I think Joshua's chin may be a hair better than Wilder's. Deontay is brave no doubt and perhaps he has more guts. But purely as far as the ability to take a big punch, I think AJ handles it a bit better, his legs look stronger when he gets up. When Ruiz decked him, Joshua looked more stunned & embarrassed than hurt, to me.

I'll go AJ mid-rounds KO over DW.
