    These threads are pointless.

They are set up as an ego boost with a predetermined "winner", and those that dare disagree are obviously wrong.

    Why even bother?

Just make the statement without the question.

    I'm done.

Forman would probably clean out the division with the exception of Vitali & Wladimir. He'd struggle with either & either fight could go either way.

Eddie Chambers, for his faults, is pretty slick.

I think Foreman would be a beast in any era, and beatable in any era... it just takes the right guy. The problem is, our mentality today is that if a guy loses he's finished. Ali, Foreman, Frazier all lost but they weren't finished. Today if they lost we'd see so many hate threads about them...

Simply being a aggresive punchers allowed Peter, Sanders and Brewster to make Wlad panic, no way Wlad beats Foreman.

    Unfortunate but true.

I'm just glad that Wlad & VItali are being mentioned alongside such greats as Forman, Ali, etc. It's the Bruno vs. Wlad threads that make me laugh my ass off......................

Tommy Morrison easily outboxed the second version of Forman in case you forgot. :thumbsup

Foreman was 6'3, 220 when he fought Ali, but seemed to round out at 230 by the end of his first career. So size would not be a huge issue against all but the Klitschkos. But George would not tower over his opponents either.

I really don't think he would have the size to handle the Klitchkos. Both bros. move pretty well and Wlad would stick that jab in his face all night. Vitali is a little more stationary but tougher than Wlad. So I think George gets stopped or loses a UD to both brothers.

Many would argue that the early Forman was not as good of a boxer technique wise as the older version. The early Forman was certainly more aggressive & busy in the ring but he often flailed away with little regard for defense relying soley on bullying the competition into submission.

Foreman is an ATG with murderous power, why and how would he struggle with a fat boxer like Chambers?

Chambers rarely gets hit flush and early Forman wasn't the most accurate puncher although he did possess some of the biggest right hands in the business ever. Still, it would be silly to assume he KO's a very slick fighter like Chambers.

:rofl I'm sure the Foreman of the 70s would've struggled with Shultz, Briggs, Morrison and Saverese
