Yeah, no doubting he could move his head, and he often looked great in the gym. Sometimes he seemed to forget all of this when things weren't going to plan and fight face first with no regard for taking punches. That's the main bug bear I had with Hatton. Luckily his chin held up well most of the time but he was found wanting with Mayweather and Pac. No shame in losing to these guys, though.

The main problem is that he gives head and body movement on the outside, and then seems to stand in the pocket and load up before he gets off. That's where Mayweather and Pacquiao were able to nail him. Basically, if he weren't so pretentious and in love with his (not really that special) power and wild aura and learned to box without just slugging, he would have been much more elusive.

Hatton had the ability to have good head movment. he had pretty good speed, but he just didn't use it like he should instead preferring to charge in head first with his hands down.

Dunno if anyone's interested but Ricky was out running in his tracksuit a couple of days ago.

He wasn't running his usual route though, so I dunno what that means. I suppose he could have just been doing something in his gym, which is why he had his trackie on. He might have been running just, well, cause he needed to get back quickly.

What I'm trying to say is, I'm not saying he is defo back training but it was interesting to see him out in his togs, jogging again after not seen him training for so long.

I would consider that a BIG problem in the ring. It's not the appropriate place to practice that technique, nor was it discussed in the contract negotiations or in the rules by the commission. Plus I don't think Mayweather or Pacquiao were open for that technique either. :bart
