When they originally fought, Camacho was 35 (DLH was 24) and was fighting out of his best weight. What would've happened if they fought at super featherweight (130) with Camacho at his prime? Please vote and post your opinions. Thnx.

Camacho would have probably ran and hugged more than usual.
    UD Oscar

    Great Fight...
Two fighter's with equal speed, De La Hoya had very fast hands aswell.
Oscar had alot of "PoP" at that weightclass, but IMO he still had alot of green during his 130 campaign, where as Macho was a beast at 130/135.

This one is going to the cards, A split decision toss up.
I'll say Hector Camacho by 12 Rd. Disputed Decison (After being Flash knocked down twice)
(With De La Hoya also hitting the canvas once)

That said tho, if a series of fight's were made between the two I'd have Oscar winning 2-3.

Imagine 35 Yr. Old De La Hoya Vs. 1996 35 Yr. Old Camacho?

I would still pick today's Oscar over 1996's Camacho.

I have watched both at 130 and the nod would go to Camacho. Oscar was fast, but still the edge in speed goes to Camacho. The biggest problem was that Oscar was very green and was pushed very fast to move up to other weight classes. I don't see anyone of them getting dropped. Both have granite chins. Camacho edge on experience and this is including his amatuer experience. I believe Oscar won a WBO belt at this weight class with the easiest champion to beat. Arum will do this to build a fighter by taking on the weakest champion in the division. Camacho would have most definitely knocked out the WBO champ Oscar beat in the early rounds. I forgot the champs name. Too much speed, movement, quickness, and smarts for Oscar. I do have alot of respect for Oscar's fighting abilities and his accomplishments til this day. What a beating Camacho took for the money from Oscar. Mind you, Camacho did not see 147 for a long time fighting at 160 and up. To lose all that weight made him much slower. He still would have lost though. Way past his weight and prime. A lot of balls to fight Oscar and Tito.

You are surely refering to the Camacho after the Edwin Rosario fight. After that fight his whole style changed to avoid punishment. At 130 and 135 (prior to Rosario) was a beast. He was too fast and to experienced for DLH at 130 and IMO would've scored a close UD or SD..

Young, green Oscar fresh out of the Olympics vs a prime Macho Man? Prime for prime Oscar is too big at his best weight, and would take the fight(probably around 140 or 147), but at 130, I'd take Camacho to befuddle the younger Oscar and decision him, though even then Oscar was very skilled, just not as much as he would become.

Camacho UD at 130. He ranks very higher H2H at that weight, mainly because of his handspeed.
