He was KO'd by a combination of power punches!!! It would be pathetic is Hatton fans would say he was knocked out by the elbow. I wanted Hatton to win but he obviously lost to a SUPERIOR fighter. No qeustion about it. My only question is regarding the use of elbow. I'm not sure if there is a rule against it. He uses is elbow to cover him and when the opponent comes rushing forward it's not surprising that his face will hit the elbow and could cause damage or cut. Let me get this staight. I'm not in anyway qeustioning PBF win or giving him less credit as a matter a fact I don't think there is anybody who could beat him right now. I hope I made myself clear on that matter. My only question is, is regarding the use of his elbow. For me it's similar to head butting. Just imagine if a BOXER comes forward and he uses his elbow to protect him and the elbow hits the boxers face! BANG!!! that elbow's damage is more damaging that the punch you can imagine. Your thoughts on these.... For me its DIRTY tactics! Dirty tactics or not he is still number 1 in the world. I just want to hear PBF Fans on this matter. Again, CONGRATS to PBF for retaining his being #1 p4p boxer in the world!
It was a counter left hook. No doubt about it. I love Hattons heart but he lost the fight to a better fighter.
I told people before this fight that PBF would use his elbow. If Hatton wants to hold PBF would use his elbows. If Hatton wanted to stand in the middle of the ring and box PBF would have never used them.:deal
