A Punchers Chance........

    With many people (most of them part of the Sky hype machine) stating that Audley has said punchers chance, I've been meaning to start this thread for a little while.

    What sort of examples are of this actually coming true?

    I.e - the big underdog coming into a fight is, as expected, getting beat, only to turn it all around with one big shot and win?

    I've forgotten the names sadly, but in the eighties some south american fighter was on the recieving end of a beating by the yank champ. The referee was about to step in and WHACK!!! The underdog is the champ now! I wish I could remember their names :-(

    No, judging from video quality I saw on this forum a couple of months back I'm saying eighties. The champ was black and I think they were around the middleweights?

    A punchers chance very rarely materialises.

    You see so many pre fight analysis' checked with 'He has a punchers chance' or 'he just need to lands that one punch' and they very, very rarely do.
