i have said before boxnation not being in HD doesnt bother me. but...i'm scratching my head over something here. as i type...on BT sport 1 HD....in glorious HD...they are showing a repeat of saunders v ryder....its a repeat of the boxnation show...video and commentary..its just a repeat.....but this is in HD. so...boxnations camera's at fights do record in HD....is it the broadcasting in HD part that costs money?......seems kinda weird seeing the repeat in HD.
Nearly everything is filmed in HD so it's not a surprise. I suspect that Boxnation are weighing up HD but are weary of the additional cost of having another channel on Sky/Virgin.
So let me get this right? Bt are repeating everything that's on Boxnation? Time to **** Boxnation off I think
it wasnt the whole show....they showed saunders and chisoras fights...thats what I seen...dunno if they showed more
i didnt think so....butler v gonzales was a good tactical affair....people appreciate different things in boxing though.
what i dont understand is how they showing boxnation highlights on BT Sport but u cant even access the Boxnation channel on BT?
It's to do with how expensive buying epg is on sky. They can film and produce HD stuff but won't stump up for another channel. It's such a noticeable difference, especially when you flick between shows like last Saturday
It's a weekly show on BT sport and is sponsored by Boxnation. They showed highlights from Mayweathers fight the week before. Paul Dempsey presents it. I presume Boxnation are giving (selling) them highlights to drum up awareness/interest in their own channel.
again...i would rather the good content, like there has been, rather than say less fights and HD....i was just curious when i seen that today.
fran.k said in a press conference before that everything was being filmed in HD so that when the HD channel launches they have plenty in the back catalogue.
