I think Morales's resume is better in that he has defeated mostly every big name that Barrera has...except for Hamed, which is Barrera's defining moment. However, on the same token you can argue that Morales has what Barrera doesn't, and that's a win over Pacquiao AND a win over Jones.

But head to head Barrera has the edge because he beat him twice, and no matter how you scored the first two, the only clear victory in the trilogy was the third fight that belonged to Barrera, who was a HUGE underdog after taking a pounding from Pacquiao and was coming off an unimpressive victory over a past-it Paulie Ayala.

Had Morales won that fight he would've been head and shoulders the superior fighter just because he would have had all arguments covered.

That victory looked pretty impressive to me and I was sitting about 20 ft. from the ring. MAB looked awesome that night, and when Paulie went to his hands and knees after the body shot he was drooling, that's how hard the shot was. Marco completely dominated the fight just like he was supposed to. What more do you want?
