    Haha, well he looks like an ex-boxer, lets just leave it at that! Really though, i've been telling people about this all day, i'm like a big kid for stuff like this. Thanks again for all the help, is all the thanking getting annoying??!

    Nothing wrong with that mate, boxing in the Olympics is a big deal for anyone. He was also ABA champ too.

    Yes. i remember him coming into our pub in Speke with a mate of my dads, fella called Eddie Palmer, no relation to Andy. must of been about 1980 probably earlier because I didn't know who he was at the time. i do remember him fighting though.
    I think Eddie mentioned to my dad about looking after him, but my dad was out of the fight game by then.
    By the way Teeto. Eddie Palmer boxed for the Golden Gloves as well back in the 60's. He was a heavyweight as well.
