    I doubt any of the people I know who are 'slightly interested' in boxing would name him if I were to ask them who the best boxer in the World was. Maybe, if I prompted the name, they might identify him as a boxer, if that's what you mean by 'heard of'.

    That's quite a long way from being interested in spending cash to watch in the early hours of the morning, which is what we're measuring.

    They probably wouldn't watch it at 4am if it was free then, in that case it'll be the same people watching if its PPV or not.

    I don't think anyone has ever tried to make an argument that more people would watch a PPV event than the same event for free :?

    What i'm saying if they don't know who Pacquaio is they aren't going to stay up till 4am to watch it are they?

    Would you stay up till 4am to watch something you've never heard of?

    Erm, that was the argument I made originally (that neither Pacquaio nor De La Hoya have remotely the mainstream appeal to justify a UK PPV). If you're not disagreeing, why are you arguing with me?!

    My argument is putting it onto PPV won't make a huge difference, a high percentage of the people who would of watched it for free will likely buy the PPV, people are acting like it was crushing the dreams of millions of boxing fans putting it onto ppv.
