What my friends trying to say is that they are a collection of dick riding bitches that couldn't make it on their own, so they pack up and try to ride on D Wade's coat tails hoping in the biggest moments he will be able to get them a championship...see the blueprint Shaq laid out. The bottom line is that you can't "hide" or "cover" the lack of balls that Bosh and LBJ have, when the moment gets huge, when the lights are the brightest, when what you do next will decide your fate, they have both proven to be small.

I don't deny any man's talent, Lebron James is a physical freak and one of the greatest phenomenon to ever enter American sports. I recognize his contributions and his talent is undeniable, but he is also soft, immature, and lacks that certain something that guys like Bird, Magic, Russell, Jordan, and yes Kobe have, that allows them to get it done when it matters most. I would compare it to the phenomenon that was Wilt Chamberlin, he was physically super human for his time, he did win a championship, but is looked at as an inferior player to Russell who had what he didn't...the balls to get it done when all the chips were down.

I don't know what the real Floyd is like, but the persona he has created is one that most people hate, and he knows that. That is also what sells.

I think he cares about his legacy, and over time, things like his obsession with money and other criminal activities will be slowly forgotten .. I think Floyd knows this too. After its all said and done, Mayweather will never have to work again and his next 5 generations of Mayweathers. I can't hate that, I'd probably do that myself.

But as I mentioned earlier, Floyd created this 'Money' persona, and he knew damn well how much hate he was going to get for it. But the publicity and money he got in return .. I guess he thought the positives outweighed the negatives.

Bear in mind, I am a pac fan more so than a may fan, and as a fan of the sport, i just want the fight to happen, what happens outside the ring i don't care about.
But I can understand WHY people love and hate mayweather.

I heard Obama is going to meet with a PED user now. Damn, the backlash this would have on an already disappointing 1st term of Presidency.

    It's weird. I'm in an "in-between" place.

For a long time my attitude toward Mayweather was, like many "Yes, he's supremely skilled - but what a ****!"

I cheered like hell for both Marquez and Mosley against him...and honestly if he'd fought Pacquiao back when it was first talked about I'd have been in Pac's corner...

    Now, I don't know...

I find myself hoping he'd win just about any possible fight that's mentioned these days...except Cotto, Bradley and Martinez.

Against Margarito? I'd be pulling for Mayweather.

Against Berto? I'd be pulling for Mayweather.

Against Angulo? I'd be pulling for Mayweather.

Against Cintron? I'd be pulling for Mayweather.

Against Chavez? I'd be pulling for Mayweather.

Against Pacquiao? I'd be hoping for the best man to win...but given how overrun ESB has been with something that rhymes with "blackguards" lately...it would put a smile on my face to see Mayweather win that one...

I respect your opinion but, if you were playing with a top 5 player and a top 15 player you would feel the same as well. Lately they have been saying that they are not good enough to beat Celtics yet. The Heatles thing is pretty wack though

I have never seen so many people that have such a HATRED for Floyd Mayweather Jr., Yet spend a ridiculous amount of time creating threads, comments, viewing his twitter, facebook pages and website of a fighter that they claim to HATE!!! But what they fail to realize that they simply acknowledging how GOOD Floyd Mayweather Jr is. Because if he was as AWFUL as you say he is....You would talk about other ****!!!! Because people who have sanity and a rational thought process would simply....MOVE THE **** ON!!!

Example: I am one of the biggest DIE-HARD Floyd Mayweather Jr. Fans you'll ever find. But I have never visited his website, his Facebook page, Twitter Page or never paid any attention to his ridiculous rants in a vlog. Because Boxing is a Beautiful Sport with TONS of other Fighters, Events...etc. Sure I was disappointed when he announced that he "no longer has the urge"...I thought it was straight bull****. But I "Moved On" and added a "New Blood" of Favorite fighters to my list: Shawn Porter and Adrien Broner (Love fighters from my Home State) along with Gary Russell Jr. and Hylon Williams. This is what People with SANITY and a RATIONAL THOUGHT PROCESS do....Move The **** On!!!

And for those people/posters who chooses to label FMJ fans of only being fans of his solely because he's Black is just another sign of COMPLETE IGNORANCE. Saying **** like "how can you excuse his behavior/antics". Ben Rothlesberger was just accused of raping 2 women and he still has Millions of Fans, yet no-one is calling his fans RACIST!!!
Just another example of a thread created by, and responded to by a bunch of insecure, ignorant HATERZ who have NEVER stepped a single ****ing foot inside a Boxing Ring!!!!

If he is a douche then why do you talk about him? I don't talk about people that I think are douche. I don't worry about people I don't like. Be honest, you are a huge fan of Floyd's you just don't like his personality. Am I right?
