A question for Mayweather fans

I like to watch and see him win, basically because of his skills and how he performs in the ring. There isn't anyone about today that I would like to see pick up the win against him, besides Cotto or Pacquiao...but I would like to see Mayweather beat both of those guys if it was my first option.

Try not to pay attention to him outside of the ring.

albeit it's a bit hard as it is what we are limited to until he comes out of vacation, this is the best way to go. his theatrics will always be gold to his fans. those who despise it, like i do, should learn to ignore or take his acts lightly.

 

The fact that he has no upcoming bouts planned for the foreseeable future, and that he is in court every other day...yeah, it's quite hard to not pay attention to him outside of the ring.

But you will rarely see me comment on his happenings out of the squared circle now...I'd much prefer to debate about whats he does in the ring.

 

Im not a floyd fan, but if you refuse to root for a fighter on the basis of them being abusive/a criminal outside the ring, your options on who to root for are gonna be pretty damn limited

 

So you do appreciate his boxing skills and are dazzled by it.

Floyd Jr doesn't need you or anyone else to cheer for him or like him as a person.

Do you realy care that there are people out there that cheer for Floyd to win.

They cheer for him to win because they are fans.

 

That's not uncommon.

 

He does care about legacy and I believe he did come back to clean up the welterweight division (after a tune up before anyone attempts to bring up Marquez), we may never know due to this on going court case.

I agree Ali was a genius at trash talking but ask Frazier how funny he found the trash talking. I enjoy Mayweather's pre fight trash talk and so do a lot of others, and many people out there hate it, like they did Ali's. It's all down to personal opinions. The trash talk from Mayweather is literally just trash talk, because post fight he shows his respect to the fighter he just beat, check out the Hatton post fight interviews to see a great example of this point.

 

I honestly think he felt unappreciated. He may have thought the sport wouldn't cope / or be as exciting if he wasn't about. I never saw it as a real retirement, more another publicity stunt.

Floyd dont care why you are watching his fights.Cheering for him to win or not.Thats plus two for Floyd.Haters watching for him to lose,and fans that cheer for him to win.
