    RICO,

If a boxer is ever KO'd, does he have a Glass Jaw in your opinion, or can a boxer be KO'd at some point in his career and not necessarily have a Glass Jaw?

Genuine question, I'm very interested to hear your answer.

I have never said a fighter getting KOed means they have a Glass Jaw.

When you get knocked out proper by a guy with no power then yes you have a Glass Jaw.

There have been several fighters that have been KOed late in their career that had Iron Chins.

Can you not be KO'd by a guy with little power who just hits you with the perfect punch? Or are you saying that means you have a glass jaw?

    hell no.

one time when I knocked this guy out in a bar in college and his girlfriend blindsided me with her purse. I don't know what was in that thing but it felt like bricks or something that was the closest I have come to getting KOed.

there is no such thing as a "perfect" or "lucky" punch.

It does not exist. Those are excuses.

I didn't say you had said that mate, it was just a question I had been meaning to ask you. You do give the impression that you have nothing but contempt for anyone who ever suffers a stoppage defeat though, that's why I thought your opinion might possibly be as extreme as anyone who has ever been KO'd is one of your 'Glass Jaw' victims.

I suppose if you are KO'd by someone with no power then you do have a Glass Jaw.

What's your opinion of these guys' chins:

    Oscar De La Hoya
    Manny Pacquiao
    Roberto Duran
    Lennox Lewis
    Naseem Hamed

I think Duran fits that description quite comfortably?? Hearns was pretty late in his career if you consider his peak as from the mid-70s up to 1980.

    Oscar - good Chin

Manny - Glass Body above average Chin

Duran - was KOed late in his career. guy had A LOT of mileage on him and did not treat his body proper.

Lewis - his Chin is not as bad as people say

Hamed - Glass Jaw who fought nobody and when he did he was schooled, embarrassed, and made to look like the fraud he was.

I hated Hamed, thought he was an irritating little ****, but glass jaw? Nope.

LoL. Where is Zakman when you need him the most Rico? Did his glass jaw fail him?
