No, but my bias for Barrera and Morales is kicking in. I think the Barrera/Morales trilogy was fought at a great degree of skill level between two greater fighters.

No. I think the skill set on display in the Barrera/Morales trilogy was greater

Brooklyn, not to get off topic but I would love your thoughts on Too Sharp Johnson.

I already rank the first two over the best two of the EM - MAB trilogy...so to answer your question...most definately.

I agree. Even if their 3rd fight is the greatest fight ever, I still won't love it as much as Barrera-Marquez because Barrera is one of my favorite all time fighters and him/Morales are higher level fighters than Marquez/Vasquez. Also, one of the main things that made the Barrera-Morales trilogy so special was the fact that they really despised each other and fought like it. The passion and intensity along with the skill in those fights is the reason I love boxing as much as I do, it was amazing. The Marquez-Vasquez fights have been amazing as well, but the intensity is not the same.. that's not putting the fighters down, it's just that Barrera-Morales was that damn good.

    Yes.

It would be a rare trilogy (like Bowe-Holyfield) where all 3 fights were very good.

The 2nd Ali-Frazier fight was eehhh, the 2nd Barrera-Morales fight was alright, the 2nd Gatti-Ward fight was alright, the 3rd Graziano-Zale fight was pretty one-sided, likewise for the 3rd Pac-Morales fight.

Yeah, it might. The level of skill is there and fighting for the world championship, pound for pounders, all together with all the blood, gore and knock outs.

Morales-Barrera was fantastic, but these two little guys are giving us everything we want as well.

Damn that's a hard question for me . . . but I'll say NO . . . the MAB/Morrales trilogy has still more weight for me.

Yes. I loved the Morales - MAB trilogy but this would take the cake.

the dramatic violence of the Vasquez fights where the endings are finite vs the skill level of Barrea v Morales. The Skill level is still good in the Vasquez scraps, I will go with those.

    Absolutely!

Most people doesn't realize that MAB and El Terrible BEAT EACH OTHER into fame & hall of fame while Marquez was already a HOF due to his terror in BW and Vazquez was close to be in... and he stepped in with the 2nd Marquez fight.

So yes, maybe just barely, but I'd definitely rank it higher, and here're some points:

no, but it's close. i like barrera-morales more, due to their history together and the high skill level of both in a extremely exciting fight. the marquez - vasquez fights are also awesome, but i just feel morales - barrera is on a higher level. as far as i'm concerned the barrera - morales trilogy, blows away the gatti - ward fights out of water.
