Rousey won an Olympic medial at 70 KG, which equates to 154 pounds. She can make 145 pounds, if she gave up the beauty act to fight cyborg. I'd like to see it. While Rousey's popularity is undeniable, the MMA is a hard-core combat type of sport. I'm not sure if a female fighter being perhaps the most well known is a long-term good thing. For now, yes. After she retires? We'll see.
Is there anybody complaining about Rousey's PPV's? The undercards suck and her fights are all mismatches. It could be worse. This isn't bad.

She specializes in Judo. Her fights are PPV. Then again, there are 10 undercards that all suck and her fight itself lasts 2 seconds against tomato cans, but she's a draw so... People like to spend money on things that excite so they keep on spending. She's really impressive - won't lie. Her and Gennady are good friends and have actually trained together.
You ever see the video of Ronda having a super intense session sparring Darchinyan while Darch is visibly clowning around and still toying with her? Good stuff. Wouldn't be surprised if the UFC PR team snatched it from the internet by now.

her opponents are not all tomato cans, at her weight division they are the best there is and that one girl (Tate i think?) took her into the second round in a good fight imo. Ronda is really pretty good, over rated? For sure, but at the same time she is pretty darn good. Lets not forget that the total "pool" of women mma'ers is still pretty small compared to the men so its still a young growing sport in all ways.
