Ummmm Pavlik slumped Taylor in the 7th round.

Second of all How is Hopkins a busy fighter? He's crafty and was able to avoid the right hand of Pavlik and counter him effectively........Paul Williams in nothing like Hopkins.

So Thomas Hauser, two doctors, and a physical therapsit all just made **** up? Is that what you are saying? If you truly beleive that healthcare prosessionals falsified medical records, you have a moral obligation to report them to the AMA. Are you going to do that today?

Kelly's excuses, valid or not, disguised that he'd still have gotten a schooling from Bernard whether 100% or 70%. I don't buy it though - if you're sick enough it might affect your performance, don't fight. He'd made enough money to not need the Hopkins fight.

Boo, I can't stand people hating on Pavlik as much as you can't stand it,
But I don't think him even being 100 percent healthy in this fight would have made a difference. Hopkins style is awful for Pavliks. Pav is still young and learning while Bhop knows every trick in the book. If pav was healthy Im sure he would have put up a much better fight, but no way would he pull off the W.

Here are a few excerpts from the Hausser article. I posted a link to the full article elswhere on this thread. Those who wish to know the truth have already read it. Blind haters with an agenda will continue to ignore it and/or deny its validity.

    Post fight comments:

    Pavlik: "Hopkins schooled me"
    Loew: "We have no excuses"
Booradley: ... nowhere to be found

A bit later: "oh wait, Pavlik had blah blah blah"
Booradley (back): "Rubio would have beat the version of Pavlik that Hopkins fought, and weight had little to do with it." :patsch

Nah, this deserves a proper patsch

I don't think it directly affected him that much, but it certainly contributed to his losing the fight insofar as he was fighting a fighter who was stronger at the weight. Pavlik did look lethargic and sluggish, but that could have been down to the training camp he had and the rumored illness the week of the fight.

Whatever, 160 is his proper weight.

Everytime someone insults his beloved Pavlik, booradley sheds a tear.

This is an easy one. Between a couple of the early rounds you can see Kelly with a foot of mucus hanging from his nose. This doesn't take and boxing analysis skills. He didn't even rehydrate to his full walk around weight overnight after dropping just a few pounds to make weight. One of the things I like about Billy Lyell is he doesn't cut weight. He says he feels stronger at this natural weight. (Are we all being robbed of better fights with all the weight cutting? Does this bode well for Pdub?) Would Kelly be the same? That one I can't answer, but I think the biggest factor was Kelly couldn't even get the oxygen he needed for this fight. I think this was the biggest factor.

Retread and still not funny. The point is, you can see for yourself that Kelly should not have been in the ring that night. Kelly simply had to be at his best to be competitive in that fight. I've posted more on this before and really don't want to go there again. Believe what you want but sometimes the facts are not too hard to glean. If I end up moving to Dayton for a new job I might just take that opportunity to make a clean break from this crap.

I say (disregarding the "Pavlik was Sick") ask Marquez what he thinks?
