    As usual, the stupidity and hypocrisy of a GIMPerial post - the absolute dumbest, most delusional spastic on esb who was convinced Roid was in his prime for the Calzaghe fight - defies belief.:rofl There's no way on earth that Loudunce or any of the clueless Roid Jones Fanclub were following the sport back then. :deal

    Climb back in your wooden GIMP box, GIMP, before I bltch-slap you all over the forum again.:deal:hey

    The learning disabilities are strong in these two t@rds. No normal person can be this dumb & delusional. :lol::lol:

    Roid Jones was truly ground-breaking when it came to ducking opponents. In 1997 - in conjunction with the wbc - he came up with the most elaborate route of all-time to duck his top ranked title challengers;

    After the farcical Jones-Nunn negotiations - which were essentially Roid's usual attempts to rip off his #1 challenger that had backfired so embarrassingly - he took a revolutionary, highly innovative 3-step strategic maneuver to pull off the most outrageous & scandalous duck of his career;

    Step 1. Relinquish your trinket rather than pay the #1 challenger his rightful purse, then sit back and wait for the top 2 contenders to box for the vacant title.
    Step 2. Months later, simply ask the governing body to just hand you back your title...which miraculously they did. (Hey, no one had ever been arrogant & brazen enough to even think to ask before Roid.)
    Step 3. After the inevitable legal action, arrange a match with the new champion - who has since been demoted to "interim champion" (it was merely typos on all contracts and promotional material when crowning the new champion, see?), then simply cancel the fight using the first excuse available - however weak.

    As a bonus for Roid, the #2 challenger had defeated the #1 to become the new "interim" champion, so Roid had managed TWO ducks in one go!!! A double-duck! GENIUS!

    Unfortunately this was all both obviously illegal and completely unethical, making it by far the dumbest f*cking duck in boxing history, and resulted in the corrupt governing body being sued and ordered to pay $31 million in damages, and Roid being retrospectively stripped of his trinket until the new champion Rocchigiani lost - which was to the true division kingpin in 2000 – a fight which Rocchigiani took [which the true champ - not being a greedy cherrypicking ducker - had no problem accepting, further putting Roid to shame] after the wbc suddenly quit their attempt at damage control in trying to make Roid box Rocchigiani and scandalously dropped Rocchigiani from their rankings altogether due to...wait for it.... inactivity! :lol::rofl:patsch

    Reluctant Roid 'Ducker' Jones. We Be Crooks :deal

    Firstly.

    What makes you think Slough would even entertain the chump. A semi literate rapping fuk pig is no Sir John Betjeman.

    Secondly.

    You have to understand, if Roid TALKED about fighting a guy it was gospel that he intended to fight them but they all backed down. You have to believe that he never wanted any part of McClellan because they were " buddies " ( perish the thought his power had anything to do with it ) but he was quite willing to fight Lewis, or Tyson in 2003 after beating Ruiz. Which bring me nicely onto.

    Thirdly.

    You have to understand that Ruiz was an ATG top 100 Heavyweight, as opposed to a Don King gofer manipulated into spurious rankings in his desperation to get his claws on at least some version of the Heavyweight title.

    :lol:

    Where do I even begin with this hilarious hate fuelled rant?

    All my posts are sh*t, but yours are always spot on?

    :rofl

    How long have you had internet access in the asylum?

    HBO publicly criticised Roy on numerous occasions. And boy did you love that. But you can't have your cake and eat it. You can't support their criticism, and then also accuse them of being liars when they supported and defended him. That's being selective. You can't just pick out the negative parts to fuel your agenda. You're never going to have success debating in that manner. Because people can see straight through you.

    As I've said on numerous occasions, you're like a politician. You speak without saying anything. If I stripped down your post, and ignored the hate and the insults, there'd only be about two paragraphs left. You're making a complete fool of yourself, especially with regards to Frankie Liles. Do you seriously think that if HBO hadn't have had proof of such offers, that they'd have let him conduct that public interview? Larry Merchant and Ron Borges were always Roy's biggest critics. Yet they supported him in the Pre Brannon interview? Why? Why would Jack O'Halloran have said that they had a great fight lined up, if Roy's offer had been a joke? The only thing that's a joke here, is you. Are you seriously expecting people to ignore HBO's and O'Halloran's claims, to believe your opinion that Liles was only offered around $200,000? I hope you've deleted your post history in the asylums library. Because if anyone reads this nonsense, you ain't ever getting out of there.

    Steve Collins would have been a big unification fight? They offered Roy a career high payday of £2m? Roy was already earning more than that. Collins held the lightly regarded WBO belt, that the likes of the Ring magazine didn't even recognise in their ratings. Who had Collins beaten? His claim to fame was due to beating Benn and Eubank. You've said in your rant that Benn was in and out of retirement and shot by that point. So the biggest win on his resume was over a past his best Eubank. So there wouldn't have been a big unification fight. Collins was game but limited, and the WBO meant nothing back then.

    Dariusz M and Roch would have smashed Roy? Ha! Based on what? Dariusz's best wins were over Hill and Roch, and he had to cheat against Roch to get the win in their first fight. Roch's best win was against a faded Nunn, and he lost to Eubank, and drew against Seillier. But yeah, he'd have smashed Roy.

    Roy never made reasonable offers to his opponents? Like when he offered Hopkins $6m for a catchweight in 2002?

    Instead of hating on Roy, put your time to better use. Try and devise a plan where you can hopefully convince the doctors that you're capable of being released back into society.

    How convenient of you to have left out why Roy relinquished the belt in the first place.

    And of course, you'd have no doubt given Roy a huge amount of credit if he'd have fought and beaten a faded Michael Nunn, right?

    Nobody has said that everybody backed down to Roy, and that Ruiz was an ATG HW.

    But I and many other members, have provided numerous links that prove that Roy and HBO tried to secure big fights for him. But unfortunately, the haters have no intentions of reading them objectively.

    Merchant is lying.

    The only time you can take Merchant and HBO serious is when they are basing Roy... If they say anything positive it is BS.:lol:

    It's a joke isn't it.

    They'll gladly ignore this, but they love the post fight interview against Rick Frazier.
