What he didn't tell you was, all those 90's boxers he's referring to drank from the fountain of youth.

"Their Style".. That's a good sign of a poster that hasn't even watched them fighting. Only common thing between them in the ring is that they try to save some brain cells for years after career. Same guys who want them to trade toe to toe are the ones that are crying retirement for bangers that made them happy before.

Do I want Wlad to fire up more in the first rounds?
    Sure.
Do I want to see him in wars?
    Perhaps.
Do I want those with the cost of him turning to something like Holyfield, Bowe or Toney in the future?
    No ****ing way.

    :deal This.

My only exception is that, I think under different management/guidance that Tyson could have had a long reign. Tysons mental and behavioral implosion had a huge impact on the the history of the 90's HW division.

Though I'm not a big fan of the Klitschko's style of fighting, I give them their due in terms of how they've dominated the heavyweight division for so long.

Wlad has a chin made of the finest china, so it is imperative he fights from a distance with that left arm outstretched to keep opponents at bay---and he does that well. It is a style that he wins with and when he fights in that style, he's a hard man to beat. However, when the opponent can get in close enough to get a clear shot to test his chin, it has failed the test. He has 3 stoppages against him by TKO and those opponents aren't exactly in the Who's Who of boxing. Ross Purity, Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster exposed his major weakness and to his credit, he does his best to eliminate his chances of getting that chin tested again.

I'm thinking they'll fight a couple more years, and to their credit, they will likely retire with all their faculties in tact and will lead very productive lives. It is a sad commentary of this sport that so many fighters hang around too long after their skills have diminished and take unnecessary punishment causing irreparable damage. These 2 guys seem a lot smarter than the average bear.

Because the top 10 are horrible.

    Overweight guys. Cruiserweights. Cowards.

I would have to agree with you on this. One of Tyson's biggest mistakes was going with Don King and abandoning they guys that got him to where he was in the division. His career took a definite downturn under King's turn at the helm.

Did you even see those 3 fights? Purrity and Brewster losses were because he unloaded everything he had and gassed out, he didn't lose because he went down from a punch. And sure Sanders had him down 4 times legitimately, but he got up and wanted to continue each time. If his chin was pure china, he would've went to sleep don't you think?

Which isn't hard, no need for skills, all they need is their size difference. If jason litzauo moves to heavy weight he could make a name for himself:rofl

Maybe this division has poor talents so the average Klitschko siblings has excelled.

:nut Chisobum will have no change.

Wlad should have faced Toney instead.
