80% of people who talk badly about the Klit brothers are Haye fans.
    15% are Lewis fans.
5% hate any fighter who can jab, and that doesn't swing 40+ haymakers per round.

How many times you have to read this before you get it?

    --
The IBF is citing “inactivity” as the reason James Toney will not receive a shot at their title on December 11 against Wladimir Klitschko.
    --

And who the hell in their right minds want to see ruined, 5'10" Toney against prime, 6'6" power puncher Wlad?

Do you have any compassion for Toney's state of health or are you totally blinded by the hate for Klitschkos?

A lot of people don't even acknowledge the fact that Wladimir was completely exhausted when he went down against Purity and Brewster. They act like he was starched the way he was against Sanders. Klitschko haters love to bring that up as if he is the same fighter today that he was back then. The Wladimir of today would have smashed on Sanders.

    Yeah I know.
Still they could have made it for the WBO/IBO/Ring/IBA titles, who cares if IBF belt is on the line or not.

Who the hell wants Wlad to fight total novise bum Chisora?

Lots of champions have had their last shot for glory why not Toney?

Toney made Rahman quit in three rounds and Rahman got shot for Wlad right after that.
JT would give better challenge than Rahman, Chicobum and other **** opponents

Were you crying when Briggs, Holyfield, Rahman and other old timers got their shot for the titles? Its common in boxing.

Where did you get idea that I hate Klitchkos?

Chisora would beat the current version of Toney.

    No change

Even current Holyfield would **** Chicobum. Derrick would have close one with Francois Botha

I don't understand why even fans of Wlad and Vitali lump them both together like they're one single entity. As if it's impossible to like one and not the other.

Personally, I like Vitali but not Wlad, simply because Vitali throws a lot more and always looks to put a beat-down on his opponents, while Wlad is boring as ****. He's an excellent fighter who has mastered a style which is very effective for him but I don't have to like it.

This terribly weak era for Heavyweights is, through no fault of their own, a huge hinderance to their legacy but I think it's fair to say that both of them would be a handful for any Heavyweight in history.

Yep, in Wlad's last fight he ate some big shots off a heavy hitter in Sam Peter, didn't slow him down in the slightest.

i dont hate klitschko, respect for what they do well but they do it because thier limited in skill and heart, and they suceed because the division on the whole is that bad.

they fight to their strengths but still arent very good.

they dont care about entertaining people and winnning over non boxing fans.

They dont excite, they look better becuase its a poor era for the divison.and yet they have still been beaten badly several times.

there also not the gentlemen they pretend to be.

it is fact that they drive a hard bargain with contracts, and are very un sporting with the rematch clauses and poor split of purses.

But that's part of the underrated greatness in boxing, the mental aspect of consistency. Tyson didn't have the mentality for a long career at his peak, fighters like Calzaghe, Holmes or the Klitschkos do, without specific guidance to save them from their demons. It's a talent in itself.

Playing Devil's Advocate here: just cause the other people are worse than them doesn't make themselves elite. They may well be the best but it doesn't mean that they're phenomenal; just that they're the best of the bunch.
