James Toney does not have a well rounded heavyweight resume to proclaim that he has some iron chin at this level.

Go ahead. I'll wait. So once again, Peter has not done anything to deserve this so called mythical amazing power. It is all speculation. I like Peter. He always comes forward, he has a great chin, but this power notion is comical. It exposes sheep and followers.

 

Peter has no wins ove fighters in there prime. He lost to Toney the first time plus Toney was 3o pounds to heavy and his reflexes were not what they used to be. Maskaev has been koed 6 times was 42 and is know for his glass jaw. Vitalis record is fat better. He beat Johnson who never been beatn. Johnson was top five heavy and was in his prime. Vit koed him in 2 rounds. Sanders destroyed Wlad then Vitali took him out in 8 rounds. The Vit fought Williams the Tyson destroyer. Peters resume is laughable at best. No wins over fighters in there prime. Sorry man its the truth.

Julies Long is a bum he has no wins over top heavys . Plus he is extremely clumsy, very skinny, has no power, and is just plain slow as balls and he has a glass jaw. I honestly cant believe you listed him like he was a top fighter. In all reality he was just another bum for better to beat.

You managed to leave out the fact that the two mandatories were against a former middleweight fighter in Toney. Toney was fat and out shape for both the fights. Plus Toney boxed Peters ears. You are a real piece of work. You say all of Wlads opponents r bum but in reality has done nothing but fight undefeated fighters that were top ten heavys or former and present Champions. Peter has not beat a top ten heavyweight in there prime yet. Honestly you said Wlad fights bums. I think you meant Peter fights bums. Here we go you post Peters biggest win and I will post Wlads best wins.

 

Theoretically you right, but in reality ... there is no one else who may have better resume at this time, so he is #2.

 

Chagaev beat Ruiz and Valuev. Better resume than Peter.

 

It's not my list...I was correcting another poster's skewed interpretation of Peter's resume, I quoted it further back in this thread.

 

Chagaev didn't fought a life opponent is almost two years and is almost stripped from the title. I hate Peter but he is definitely above Chagaev.

 

I agree that some of those aren't too impressive, but how impressive is Wlad's last fight? Tony Thompson? I've been a hardcore fight fan for eight years and had never heard of that dude until he got a shot at the heavyweight title. It's a two-way street man, can't critique Peter's opposition while pretending anyone but Thomspon and his mother had ever heard of him. Peter's wins vs Toney and even Maskaev are far more impressive than Wlad beating Thompson or Davarryl Williamson. That said, the division is a joke and it's hard to find contenders who aren't either over the hill or untested prospects.
