And Byrd's reflexes were what they once were for the rematch with Wlad, right??

Good lord, this board has very few boxing fans, and quite an overabundance of obsessive stalker types who feel their hero has never shown a weakness or never made a bad career move, while other fighters have never done anything worthy of praise. It's quite unhealthy if you ask me.

Wlad destroyed him in there first fight. His reflexes were not what they once were. However, unlike Toney he kept in shape. Do you fight? I do. You fight when you have to and make the adjustments you can to win the fight.

We've all seen the same fights - he was laying guys out before he fought Klitschko and often early. I'm sure those guys sucked, but those knockouts certainly appeared flashy. I'm open to have my mind changed. What flush shots have you seen him deliver that should have done more damage than they did? I haven't seen him land anything fancy in eons but I do recall him hurting Toney.

Peter's resume is littered with small heavies. He couldn't ko Shufford which is a HUGE red flag. He caught Wlad flush with a hook at the end of round 3. If his power was as proclaimed, the fight should have been over. He couldn't KO McCline...couldn't KO Hawkins. His whole career is based off highlights of KO's of china chinned, semi retired cruiserweight. Does Calvin Brock have amazing power?

Peter's power is a myth. There is simply no evidence, sans an Oleg knockout, that suggest Peter is heavy handed.

...and before OLEG, he had none...now it's except OLEG...if by some miracle VITKLIT makes it to the ring, you'll be saying he can't KO anyone who isn't Russian...

You roll your eyes, but it is you that looks ridiculous. Sam Peter is so powerful.....yet....he has only knocked out one game fighter. :huh :-(

If he was powerful, he would have blitzed Shufford, McCline, Hawkins, and Toney. Yes, Toney. If Toney didn't carefully pick his HW opponents, he would have been decapitated.

Peter's and Vitali's resume are similar, in quality.

Peter: Toney (it was really a loss), Toney, Maskaev, McCline

Vitali: Hide, Johnson, Sanders, Danny Williams

But Vitali's performances are much better.

There's probably not one fighter on your favorites list that stayed off the canvas for as many years as Toney, but you want to talk about people decapitating him...foolsih KLIT-ite.

You are a dumbass. You are translating his non HW career to his current career. You are just simply not very bright. Your arguments are so flawed and not based on any sense.

What Toney did as a MW and in other divisions has no bearing on him blatantly not fighting any HW euro's.

Vitali has much better middle of the road victories than Peter. In fact, there resumes aren't close.

The only reason he hasn't fought those guys, is they don't want to pay him...and he's already said they are all bums a long time ago. You obviously can't follow the continuity of events...

Pay him? Toney has no HW cred. And he doesn't want to go overseas. So, I am following the timeline and excuses...

On the other hand, Shufford beat Lamon Brewster and Tua couldn't knock Hawkins out. I still contend that his technique is poor and that his skill is lacking. When he connects he hurts people. I'm not claiming that he has amazing power, but it's clear to me that he has good power in the heavyweight division.

I have seen all of Peter's fights when he has fought higher level opponents. He connects, they just don't go to sleep like china chinned cruisers...

...in your eyes he has no HW cred...that doesn't matter too much though. The people who fought him have no problem proclaiming his greatness.
