You can fight on with an injury , but you can't if you have an emptied gas tank. Breamer was ahead , all he had to do was coast and get a German decision .
6 rounds is an eternity when you have nothing left. best to go out on an injury than a grinding down stoppage loss

Respect for Clev for winning this in enemy territory, but lets be honest here he had a monster task in front of him, IMO he was not winning this and he got a bit of a gift. He worked hard for it and luck was on Clev's side, I'm happy for him but let's not act like he was winning this hands down from the opening bell on. He wasn't.

Here's something Mr. Braehmer may like to hear in mind the next time he is in deep, and is harbouring thoughts about taking the easy way out:

“You think you know the difference between a hero and a coward, Mike? Well, there is no difference between a hero and a coward in what they feel. It’s what they do that makes them different. The hero and the coward feel exactly the same, but you have to have the discipline to do what a hero does and to keep yourself from doing what the coward does.” - Cus D'Amato to the-then fourteen-year-old Mike Tyson.
