:nono Bradley is talented and skilled but will never be an elite. he lacks pop and so his rise to fame is limited. we've seen him perform at 147 against Abregu and i say he looked average. Alexander is a product of hype, soon he will be exposed (if not already) and will be lucky to have a career as big as cory spinks' lol. Zab Judah has more talent than these two but he never got to the elite level. out of the 140 lbs tourney contenders, Amir is the only real deal and at that he is still limited by his weak chin. Bradley-Alexander is a fight for the hardcore fans but i think the hardcore fans had been too nostalgic for the glory days of american boxing like we've seen in the era of the fab four. so nostalgic that they would settle for this version. Not only were the fighters watered down, the promotion for this fight is pitiful, being handled by a past-his prime Don King and a booking agent named Shaw. montiel-donaire is the true fight for the hardcore fans. two tested, effective and skilled fighters who lacked the HBO hype but more than made up for it by their ring performance and achievements
Saying Pac left HBO implies that Pac has some agreement (contractual or casual) with HBO. He does not (unlike some fighters).
You missed the point. It has nothing to do what you think is talent. It has more to do with competitive fights (which Alexander vs Bradley is) and their current standing - top or near top of their respective weight class. Right now, there is no one at 140 better than the current top 4. Maybe someday Rios and such will compete along with the top 4, but for now, these top 4 is it.
Yes Manny is cashing in but his money is going to GBP, TOP RANK, KONCZ, ROACH AND PLENTY OTHERS! MAKE 15 million but after everyone is paid he walks away with 5 to 6 million.
