A rematch is essential! Andrade would very likely KO Bute by the 9th in a rematch!

Bute hasn't improved as much as I thought he would, since his last fight. Andrade underperformed more than Bute, in this fight and the referee helped Bute enforce his gameplan throughout the fight. If Andrade had performed as well as I believe he could, and the referee had been compeltely impartial, I think he'd have KOed Bute with no controversy before the Championship rounds, despite being well behind on the cards by then. He's just a very bad style for Bute and it was always going to be a very close, competitive fight, as many of us predicted.

Yeah right,Andrade didn't perform cuz he got outboxed by Lucian. If he stops him,he stops him latter then the 9th.Most likely Bute would win a clear UD.He just needs 20 seconds of stamina more

Andrade is like the Antonio Margarito of the 168 lbs division...An incredible chin, a **** load of stamina, always coming forward...His style would give hell to almost all the top 10 boxers in the division !

I disagree. Unless Bute gets better, Andrade will catch up to him eventually, after being outboxed all night. He just didn't work hard enough in there, uncharacteristically. He didn't take as much punishment as he could to land himself. It was silly of him to say he wasn't hurt at all at the end. If you weren't hurt, why didn't you walk through Bute's punches to KO him early, then, Librado?:huh

REMATCH!!! I still don't know who the better fighter is. Boxing is not about who outpoints whom, but who is the better man by the end of the night. It's no good winning 11 rounds and then getting KOed in the 12th. You lost if that happens. The other guy was better!:good

Don't know if Bute wants to leave Canada. Plus a remtach will delay a Kessler fight down the road.

If there's no rematch, Bute's career is over, because very few will come and pay to see him fight.

There's really no point in a rematch. That was a once in a lifetime shot...that's gone now. Andrade couldn't do that again if he tried to.

I think Bute would win a rematch with a much easier (but perhaps closer on the cards) decision win.

Andrade couldn't do what in a lifetime? Leave it to the last moment to try and KO Bute?:huh

He needs a proper trainer; Grant's advised him badly. He underperformed more than Bute did. Andrade's the favourite against Bute in a rematch, what are you talking about?:huh

You are right Decebal. It is really vital to a lot of people. Not least Bute himself, Canadian boxing an dof course to Librado. An then to all boxing fans.

I, however, would favor Bute in a rematch and a rematch in California could be good for Bute - IF he acts quickly now and the IBF doesnt have to twist his arm first.

A rematch would be good but i would put 10 million dollars on Bute via wide UD.

He was so far above Andrade in terms of skill it wasnt funny, Bute would tinker with a few things and grind out an easy win...actually Butes fists wouldnt think it was easy :bart

I agree, Andrade will have a better chance in a rematch. As he said himself, he did not come to win on points . In a rematch he will step up the pressure earlier and get the KO.
