I wasn't scoring the first time I watched it, but I felt Castillo easily deserved the victory. The second time I did score, and I had Castillo winning by a couple of rounds (I think). I remember it being a lot closer than how I felt the first time. I wouldn't call it a robbery and I wouldn't argue with anyone who had Floyd edging it, but do I think Castillo was unlucky not to get it, and I do think the scorecards were way too wide for Floyd. That was bull****. But considering he was injured in that fight, and he immediately settled the score in the rematch, that's all that matters.
Castillo won 3-4 rounds in the 2nd fight, which is still a pretty good number of rounds to win against Floyd. I think Castillo would always present a stylistic challenge for Floyd whether Floyd came in injured or not.
yea i agree castillo was a tuff customer back then..tho i did think floyd won the 1st fight but 2nd fight cant even be remotly looked at...:good:good
