what's funny on the video was that somebody had to tell pac who martinez was.

-for floyd, he may just have been ****in' around but he made the comment that he would love to fight the martinez-williams winner.

 

Martinez vs Floyd was first talked about in the press conference of the Mosley fight when a reporter asked Floyd if he'd be interested in facing Martinez after he beat Pavlik and Floyd said he'd be interested in the fight

yes and Floyd has said on more than one occassion that he'd fight him. You can talk ****, but while Floyd is saying he'll fight Pacquiao and his team are ducking him at all cost saying he's no draw and even asking him to come down to 147 :rofl:rofl

 

The first time I remember Pac being mentioned as a possible opponent for Floyd, was when Pac looked good at lightweight and shot up to the number one P4P spot whilst Floyd was retired. Then the destructions of Oscar and Hatton - proving Pac was effective at the higher weights - made him a definite, legit opponent.

Martinez entered the fold as soon as he was recognized as a top P4P fighter (after beating Pavlik).
