A ridiculous Calzaghe article...

Yeah, because Bute shits on JC's resume. Very silly article and stinks of some sort of personal vendetta from the writer's end.

 

Most of the articles on boxingnews24 seem to be written by haters or huggers. I think they are all just written by fans. A while back there were a lot of Klit hugging articles on there.

 

That's quality fair play

 

Even if any of the crap in there was true it is appallingly written...reads like a 10 year old has written it.

 

Biased, poorly written crap like that should be a forum post, not an article.

 

I still find the double standards of the Yanks amazing, really. I remember before the JT win Froch was slated on so many forums and by so many American writers and now they love him! I made a thread yesterday to try and understand why they worship Froch more than Haye considering that they are both lippy and, thus far IMO, Haye has proven more on the world stage.

 

Boxing News 24 is a bunch of biased pricks to be hoenst... there is an occasional good write up. But rarely.

I don't disagree with the thoughts on Arreola's HW resume but it just stinks of a snide dig at Haye.

 

That guy seems to be incredibly bitter about Calzaghe seething with hatred if you will.It certainly was alot more like a forum post of a Calzaghe hater than a genuine unbiased article for a boxing website.

 

If the guy is signed up to the "walesonline" website even this long after Joe has retired then he definately has some bitterness issues of his own!

Also, it's a shame The Ring online wiped out their archives online, Bill Delthoff once penned the following (to paraphrase):

"Sure Calzaghe gave a good performance against Lacy but he tied Lacy up all night to stop him fighting and wouldn't travel for the fight. I'll make some predictions; Calzaghe will never fight the like of Kessler, he'll never get in the ring with Hopkins and he'll never come to the USA to prove himself outside of his comfort zone."

i used to visit boxingnews24 often before i found esb and you will notice that every single one of michael liebermann's articles are anti-british and mostly anti-calzaghe, and they are so ridiculous at times that i'm sure they are wind ups
