Prizefighter International Heavyweights Semi-Final - Mike Perez vs Gregory Tony [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwBqvVYFkRg[/ame] Badr Hari Vs. Tony Gregory It's Showtime 2011 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vjyf41J1D0[/ame]
He just needs to retire from all forms of combat sport, period. :yep First round blowout kayos in back to back weeks. :-(
Badr Hadri is a f'n beast. Guess that's why he threw himself down rather than get hit in Prizefighter
:yep Tony definitely has the better pedigree in kickboxing than in boxing, but he still didn't belong in the ring with Hari any more than he belonged in that draw with the likes of Perez, Sprott and Fields IMO. Did you get to watch the It's Showtime event? It was a nice fix for a long-suffering K1 fan (especially since that promotion may never be returning) but the opening bout left a sour taste in my mouth that made it hard to enjoy the rest...compounded by the fact that it was mostly mismatches up to and including the Hari-Tony main event. Giorgio Petrosyan - who might be my favorite professional fighter right now - was completely outclassing this Frenchman before the latter pulled this shameful acting job in the 3rd, horribly overreacting to an accidental groin kick and forcing a no contest. He basically was allowed to save himself a loss, as he knew time was running out and he had to have been down on the cards and obviously didn't have so much as a puncher's (or kicker's) chance. Despicable. If Petrosyan doesn't have K1 to fall back on, he may have no choice but to put up with bush league chicanery like that, which really bums me out.
Didn't see it. I only really watch the big K1 shows. I wanted to check that out though as Badr is one of my favourites. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the opponent. :happy
