if ggg fails to consistently work the body in the first 5 rds, he will lose on the cards. thats how close i think canelo can keep it. canelo will be trying to hit ggg with short uppercuts then spinning out when ggg gets in to work the body, im curious to see how that plays out. canelos defense is underated and will keep the bigger, slower mans connect percentage in the low 30s.
if ggg can get to the body early, he will tire him out faster, force him to lower his guard, and kill his movement at the waist, which will result in a 10th rd tko.

Canelo got outboxed by a much older Mayweather. He took that loss and learned from it and has become a better fighter since. Golovkin had a close match with Jacobs. Will he learn from that close fight? GGG's camp seems every bit as disorganized as Kov's camp in the weeks before Ward-Kov II. That's not a good look and it def raises my eyebrow.

If anything, GGG camp is very organised: they brought in good sparring partners (including J Rock Williams), keep it low on the details of how they train in Big Bear solitude, GGG's Jordan apparel is on its way to enter the market, every member of the team knows what they are doing, I don't see GGG talking trash like Kova did all the time, if anything he's more like Ward in his approach (let the fight do the talking), whilst Canelo boasts having sparrings 2 months before the fight and has an urge to show off his skills in short videos here and there throughout the camp.

So. What made you think GGG's camp is every bit as disorganized as Kov's camp?

Spot on bro....GGG should put a hole in Big Red's gas tank early and when not targeting the body use that powerful stiff jab that kept the Mule honest.

    Great post btw

 ggg's jab will score the first couple of rds, but canelo will start to time it and come over the top, so ggg will have to start using faints to bait canelo to commit. its going to be fought at a high skill level, imo.
