Oscar should've waited a couple more years. Can't see too many options for Canelo really. Try to backpedal like everyone else = gas and get KO'd rather quickly. He doesn't have the legs let alone stamina to try and run/slip/counter whole fight so when Golovkin get's him in that spot and unloads, like he always does, it's curtains. Try to be aggressive = eat the jab, get parried/countered, gas and get KO'd even quicker.

Until I'm proven wrong, I'll doubt Canelo's ability to absorb the kind of punishment Golovkin normally dishes out.
Throw Canelo's obsession with ropes in to this and the picture get's even more grim.

Surely Oscar and Canelo are not idiots, they know exactly what's up and why Golovkin's been avoided by so many and Canelo's skilled enough to exploit holes in Golovkin's game, but he might be too busy trying to save his skin to follow any kind of plan.

While I do think Canelo will have plenty of success throughout the fight against G, weight and reach do have a lot to do with gameplan and style. You can be as talented and proficient in your style as you want to be, if you dont have the dimensions to employ it effectively against a certain opponent, it matters.

Canelos style (most styles really) are more effective if you are indeed the taller, heavier, and rangier fighter.

Great pick em fight if Canelo was a heavyweight and GGG was drained to lightweight.
