Marquez was so disappointed after the Bradley loss that he said he was heavily pondering retirement. Well, I think Marquez is making a big mistake By letting slip an easy and big payday. What I mean to say is that Marquez should make Cotto his retirement fight. He would make a good payday for it and he would likely stop cotto who is tailor made for a counterpuncher like Juan.

I think Marquez could go into the fight at the same weight he fought the Bradley fight (150). And he would pretty much turn cotto into hamburger before knocking him out. It's really the only fight that Juan could reasonably take since he doesn't want to fight PAC or Tim again. And to reiterate, Juan would have a field day and add a pretty good scalp to his resume in order for him to further his legacy.

Marquez vs Garcia at 140 lbs for his retirement fight.

I'd rather have Marquez end his career against a fighter in his prime.

Marquez imo would beat Garcia handily!

jmm vs miguel vazquez @ 140 for his retirement fight

a slick, prime and fellow mexican is a good final test for jmm if he can really beat a slick boxer

or maybe richard abril @ 140 also

jmm vs khan a predictable KO for JMM but would be entertaining as JMM likes to mix it up too

Khan would know better, he woul'nt get within snifffing distance of Marquez.
Khan would study the Bradley gameplan vs Marquez and figure he could just keep distance and not have to do very much as far as landing effective punches and the judges would side with him.

As Bradley stated, it pained him not to give in to his desires and mix it up some with Marquez.
.......Bradley admitted that he knew what was good for him. :deal

Quicker, faster fighters with skill all know that against a 40 year old master counterpuncher. You sit on the outside and do the least possible and hope the judges find the speed more than effectiveness the attraction.

Marquez would beat Garcia easily but at this time he keep wanting to be Maroid. Maroid only chance is a one punch wonder.
