A serious question: can Usyk defeat Wilder and become WBC HW champ in his next fight?

Usyk is head and shoulders above Romanov, and Romanov was able to wipe the floor with Wilder and score two knockdowns before he stopped him.
Sure,it was a long time ago.
But you just have to watch Wilder vs that mediocre journeyman Molina to understand that the overprotected American hype job would be the huge underdog against such an exceptional fighter like Usyk.
I very much doubt that Wilder would see round 5-6 vs Usyk even at this point of time.
The Ukranian cossack just has 8 pro fights under his belt. His opposition is still better than Wilder's 34 victims except for Birmane.
:bbbUsky by ko or tko within 5 rounds

as GG would say "are you serious?"

Wilder in 34 fights hasn't fought anyone with 1/10 of Usyk's skill level, that's saying something

Wilder would wipe the floor with Usyk. Usyk would be running for his life trying to avoid Wilder's right hand bombs. Usyk movement is good and that'll keep him on his feet until Wilder KOs him in the 7th.

Usyk had faced far better punchers than Wilder in his amateur and semi-pro career before he turned pro.
Besides the longer the fight the better the chances that Wilder will be systimatically dismantled by Usyk.
No way that Wilder can win a point decision over Usyk.
Wilder 's best chance is a ko victory within the first 2 rounds.
And lets be honest can any knowlegdeable fight fan imagine Usyk can 12 long rounds with someone like Duhaupas???
But you jester are saying that Usyk isnt even able to go 7 rounds with Wilder whereas a very limited Frenchman with no pop in his fists almost heard the gong of the last round.:patsch

I had some people in Kiev working for me a few years back. One consultant was a Russian lawyer who lived in Hungary and had a reputation as a ladies man. I asked him if he played around with good looking Uke women and he said no, because "they are all gold diggers".

I'm just passing this info on....

I have a friend who's got a friend in Copenhagen, he (the friend, not the friend of the friend) says all lawyers are professional liars.

    Just passing on!

But to contribute to the subject I think Usyk have to tighten his defense a bit. He ate a few shots in his last fight that probably would be more problematic against real HWs. But with that said id bet on Usyk UD (if he's given more then a months notice).

No. Usyk was pushed by a C-level cruiserweight, Knyazev. Can you imagine what the huge B-level HW like Wilder will do to him ?

Knyazev is decent and Usyk had no problems with him.
And Wilder is C-level at best :yep

Usyk's wide open to the straight right, even slow ass Muller was landing flush straights down the pipe. That does not bode well against Wilder. I wouldn't write Usyk off completely but would favour Wilder strongly

Pah! Usyk had beaten far better names than Wilder at the amateurs and the semi-pros before he turned pro.
Wilder got his ass kicked and was stopped by Romanov,a fight who cant hold a candle to Usyk.
IMO Wilder would be the huge underdog against Usyk.

Wilder fought Romonov in the amateurs SEVEN YEARS AGO. What kind of logic is that?

SIX YEARS AGO, Usyk lost in the amateurs to Egor Mekhontsev ... who is currently a pro fighting as a light heavyweight.

Would Usyk be a MASSIVE UNDERDOG against Egor if they fought now? :patsch

Believe it or not, boxers can actually GET BETTER over a seven year period.

People who bring up amateur losses that happened nearly a decade ago need to wake up.
