Let's hope. Plus there could be a trilogy if Usyk wins. Until Ruiz II the bodybuilder was a humble boxer who measured words and comments on the web. Hats off. After beating Ruiz in the second fight his attitude changed. Pride has taken over as demonstrated by some of his ridiculous comments towards Fury, Ruiz himself and other boxers of the past. I hope USyK in the next fight will be able to demonstrate what most think in this forum and that is that he is currently the best heavyweight around technically and that he will give the arrogant bodybuilder a resounding defeat. Im sure more than half of the Boxing World (athletes, managers, press, fans even casuals) cheers for USyK. Agreed?
He should legally change his name to John Andy Ruiz-Usyk, its the only way to consume the powers of both Andy Ruiz and the quiet man John Ruiz.
What a stupid thread this is. Why is the main forum polluted with absolute nonsense most of the time?
Because there are 5 different bot accounts to drive engagement. The blatent trolling threads/posts are simply there to drum up controversy and a platform to push annoying nuthuggery. You know who they are. If you follow their posting style you can see which alt accounts they switch between. It's been happening for a long time... boxing_master, eltirado and MVC! were the old accounts.
The Ruiz win was good old fashioned fun. Can we ever have such innocent joy again or have we become jaded? I've missed @eltirado and his takes on how the future of boxing depends on genetic engineering and very precise measurements of punching power. He was crazy, but I liked him. I hope he comes back or posts more like his old self.
I think Joshua is suitably arrogant. You have to have an ego in boxing. I think Usyk has a good chance of winning on the cards, but none whatsoever of getting a decision. We'll see. If Joshua beats Usyk fair and square then I will be cheering for him against Fury now, as I also like Fury, but do not appreciate how he just held boxing hostage and faked Covid (yes, he did). If Joshua gets a screwjob, well, Fury is the lesser of two evils. Sad boxing has come to this.
And at the Press conference when asked if he's planning to come in heavier against Joshua he should reply: 'Fat, Very fat'...
Makes sense. Then there’s a few others on here that just drive inane debate and contribute nothing remotely nuanced or intellectual. @mark ant and a couple of others.
