Hello, here's a list of young Thai boxers that you really need to follow them in 2024 : - The first name that comes to mind is Thanongsak Simsri "KO Artist" "Black Wolf" I've been talking about him for a while now, he has boxed 7 times in Japan for only 1 defeat. 33 wins for 30 KOs for 1 defeat (against former WBC Light flyweight world champion Masamichi Yabuki, the only man to beat Kenshiro Teraji professionally). He's only 23 and is ranked 8th in the world by Boxrec in Light flyweight, 5th by the WBO, 18th by the IBO, 3rd by the Asian WBC at the moment. - I'd also like to mention his younger brother Sitthisak Simsri, who has a 100% KO record with 17 wins (17Ko) and 2 losses, but even though he's only 21, he has no chin and lost both of his big fights before the limit. He's still a huge puncher, and according to his brother, they have the same power. He also boxes at Light Flyweight and has had a few fights at Minimumweight division. - Thattana Luangphon "Chainoi 'Rock Man' Worawut" 26 years old current WBC Asia Super Bantamweight champion since July 2019, he is currently the superstar of NKL Promotion. He has 25 wins (15KOs) to 1 draw. He is ranked 8th by the WBC, 28th in the world by boxrec , 33rd by IBO. - Phoobadin Yoohanngoh "Sangarthit Looksaikongdin" boxer in Super Lightweight division only 20 years old 19 wins (10KO) he has not impressed in his last fights, but he is slowly building his nest. Currently ranked 12th by WBC Asia, 51st in the world by Boxrec. - Wira Mikham 26 years old 14 wins (9KO) undefeated in the Feathers and in particular a win against the veteran Phai Pharob "Paipharob Kokietgym". He will have to confirm this in June against Daisuke Sugita, the Japanese police boxer from Tokyo. - Finally, the two talented youngsters, Thananchai Charunphak "Thananchai NKL", 24, who will soon be boxing in Pattaya, will be defending his WBC Asia Flyweight title for the 4th time soon. 22 wins (14KOs) to 1 defeat, ranked 9th by the WBC, 24th in the world by Boxrec. & the other young prospect who has also signed with NKL Sathaporn Saart "Sathaporn NKL" 20 years old 13 wins (8KO) for 1 loss but he beat on points the two good boxers Nattapong Jankaew and the Chinese from Xi'an Peng Huang, he will soon be against a Japanese prospect.
I will not add Prachanon Mingpracha 22 years old on this list 3 victories (3KO) for 1 lose. Even if he stop the veteran Wicha Phulaikhao "Pigmy Kokietgym" because Wicha was very very far from his best level and on this fight it was the most bad version. You can find the fight on this forum (I created a thread).
I'd probably refer to them as "boxers from Thailand". I got confused when I read Thai Boxers and wondered what a Muay Thai thread was doing here?
Knowing his Chinese opponent, I think Thananchai should win. On the other hand, it will be more difficult for the Super Fly Danai. https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...vapon-danai-at-pattaya-the-26th-april.719596/
