I have to agree, when Anderson came out in the 2nd and really got in Hendo's face Hendo looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights, he had nowhere to go and Silva just started putting the combinations together and from that moment on the end was nigh, it would be the same result if they fight again imo.
People fail to admit this but its the truth, but some would like to cling that how Hendo was able to take him down the first round was the whole fight. Ive read amazing things here that states Hendo should have just done the same in the 2nd round instead of playing around. Apparently Hendo didnt want to win
I don't hate him at all. I just think his modesty is feigned. I don't want to see fraternity in the cage, I want to see a fight.
He gave you a fight. What do you want him to do? What would please you? He has nothing to be modest about, at least he acts like it though, even if it is fake. Better to fake it than to be out and out cocky and arrogant.
I think Silva is genuinely respectful to the fans, its just his personality that would make you think otherwise. He brings alot of flair which is good for the sport. Like I said though, the only problem from a fighters perspective, we fight, no need to embarrass me, but on the other hand he was clearly making a point from all the pressure and nonsense Dana put on him.
Emotions had nothing to do with it, He tried to clinch and take Silva down again in the 2nd, Silva just wouldnt have any and then a couple of shots here and there and theres no way Hendo was in condition to take him down again at that point. Silva is a ****in bad mofo.
The problem is that he is both. **** and arrogant than acts modest. He isn't modest and shouldn't let on. Kinda like Lesnar.
No fake modesty.... He's always been like that even before the ufc. Machida is also like this. So is GSP. ...Even in a loss.... Watch how he reacted after his loss against Chonan... he had total respect for the guy.
silva is class all the way,i can respect that...even though i loved lesnars antics after the mir fight.....i guess if you want class watch silva,gsp and if you want something different watch lesnar....lol
Sorry to bust your bubble, but Silva is going to "man-handle" Henderson. If you think that "Big Right Hand" is going to do anything.... Silva is no Bisping. And as far as Hendo taking it to the ground.... Henderson tried that in the first fight and he got choked-out. You cannot blame the guy for having a little fun.
