You have no idea how to score a fight You clearly were not sober watching it the 2nd time Watch it without your froch goggles on
On the night I had groves up by 3 & having watched it again today I'm of the same opinion. The other thing that remained the same from Saturday & today for me was how much I thoroughly enjoyed round 6, one of the best rounds I have seen for a while.
And when do you give this round? You have to see at least five or six rounds b4 you can establish in you own mine that Fighter A is getting well beaten.
Do adam booth fighter lack stamina for a reason both groves and haye seem to fade as a fight goes past halfway. I know booth wasnt there but the camp wont have changed that much. Just wondering any opinions on why
Ahhhh so you don't agree with me. In which case: you don't know how to score a fight, you're clearly under the influence of something or other right now, type replies without your <insert name here> goggles. That was easy enough. What an interesting discussion that was. BTW: I am secretly bumming Froch, McCracken and both the Hearns (and sucking off Adam Booth and his lawyer). Would post pics but the lounge is no more.
Two things just to point out on this fight I've noticed that no one else has mentioned. When Froch is getting a count, when Foster is at about 7 or 8, he turns his head/ear to the face of Froch, why does he do that, looks like he is almost saying something but I would of thought he would look at him front on still at that point? Secondly, just before Groves goes into Foster and he has his head in a awkward kind of looking head-lock, Froch actually pushes him off into Foster then he lands the little right under Groves after, surely the push off just made Groves off balance and makes it look worse then it actually is? Watching it back, he is throwing punches back and I think that makes it a lot worse. I also don't buy that Groves was out, about 2 seconds after it looks like his hands are hanging down he is turning around, you wouldn't have that kind of reaction if you were out?
I watched the last couple of rounds again. I had totally forgotten GG was hurt twice in the final round. It still shouldn't have been stopped but I do lean slightly more towards that Froch would have eventually gotten to him. I would pick Froch in a rematch. I don't think Groves can live with him for 12. Unless GG stops him in the first that is..
Another thing i noticed is Groves having some sort of dig at Eddie after the fight and being ushered away by Bazza
