Was sad to see Sam Eggingtin get taken out like that, always puts on a great show. As for Cheeseman he surely is ready to step up to fringe world level now, I'm not sure about his lack of power but it'll be interesting to see how he goes.
Cheese>Egg Cheeseman showed some real spite in there last night. I'd fancy him for the stoppage against the egg
Switched over to Hughie midway through Cheesman. But what I was of Cheesman was very impressive. That guy has a lot of tools in his arsenal.
Cheese is quality, my old boxing coach was telling me about him about 8 years ago when he was in the amateurs
I’m a little disappointed, I thought this was gonna be a cookery thread. I was looking forward to putting my spin on a few recipes.
I wouldn't put him fringe world level yet. Still a lot to prove but he's a good fighter. Cheese-Fowler can be made now please. How about Cheese-McNess style wise, that's a fight.
Cheeseman hasn't been hit yet by a puncher. And NO, Carson Jones isn't a big puncher. This will all end with Adam Smith saying "what a really brave effort by Cheeseman, he just came up a little short tonight against a really good professional, he'll learn from this.. he can come again"
To be honest, he seemed a little wobbled when Byfield launch an assault at the end of the 11th - out of no where I might add. Cheeseman did a bit of an Eggington and just stood there eating shots. Agree with N17, he hasn't faced a puncher yet. He does a lot of good things but he gets hit far too easily and marks up badly. Pretty sure he will be found wanting at higher levels, but he is an entertaining fighter. His shelf life won't be that long with his style of fighting though imo, so I hope he can make some good money and can see him in plenty of decent fights.
I know he's a bit of a hero to him but Fowler really does seem to have a Froch like vibe. Good length for his division, but a wiry strong build. Underrated skill level and he can punch. If he ends up being as tough as Carl he will go a very long way. I really do think he will be the last man standing @ 154 in the British scene.
